This year marks the 23rd Anniversary of the Annual Marriage and the Family Series, and it promises to be extra special and exciting features to complement the expert advice given by the dynamic speakers. Victoria Mutual is pleased to announce that the Series will be held in Kingston on Sunday, June 28 and Monday, June 29 at Emancipation Park beginning at 5:30 p.m. each evening. The Series will also journey to Ocho Rios on Saturday, July 4, 2009 at the Turtle River Park beginning at 2 p.m.

There will be live entertainment each evening, by popular artistes and in addition there will be the usual fun and games and an exciting Bridal Fashion Show, showcasing the latest wedding trends. Victoria Mutual has invited dynamic speakers who are expert in their fields including sexologist and psychologist, Dr. Sydney McGill, St. Ann’s Bay Family Counselling Centre and Valerie Viera, Executive Director, Jamaica Business Development Corporation.

Soon-to-be wed couples are encouraged to attend this year’s Marriage and the Family Series, and open a VMBS Bridal Registry Account. The Bridal Registry Account will help them start on the path to home ownership and achieve their other financial goals. Family members and friends will receive a card with the couple’s account number with their invitations. They can then deposit any amount to the couple’s account.
