President and CEO Victoria Mutual Building Society, Courtney Campbell (left) and CEO Building Society Operations, Peter Reid, present a cheque for $250,000 to Aiko Jones, National Senior Team volleyballer and winner of the Victoria Mutual Y.O.U.T.H Award at the recent RJRGleaner National Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year Awards.

The Young, Outstanding, Upcoming, Talented, Headliner award is presented to a Jamaican junior athlete who has displayed outstanding talent, whether on the local or international stage. Jones, a multitalented athlete and head girl at Wolmer’s Girls’ in St Andrew, won a gold medal for Jamaica in the shot put at the 2016 Carifta Games in Grenada.

Victoria Mutual, which is celebrating their 140th anniversary, is the sponsor of the Y.O.U.T.H. Award.
